Seymour’s Duramix™ products are engineered for the high demands of the collision repair process. Our Duramix™ Black 2-in-1 1K Automotive Seam Sealer is a single-component seam sealer formulated to match OEM appearance and deliver lasting durability.

For use on interior and exterior seams, the 1K seam sealer replicates OEM beads and textures. It can match factory beads on door skins, hoods, and trunks for an invisible repair. It can also be used as a sprayable seam sealer for applications like sound-dampening pads or to duplicate OEM undercarriage textures.

Our flexible direct to metal seam sealer won’t shrink, harden, or crack. It cures quickly and is paintable immediately, maximizing productivity. In the Seymour tradition, Duramix™ 2-in-1 1K Seam Sealer provides consistent, reliable results for professional collision repair and restoration.

Duramix™ 2-in-1 1K is a one-component seam sealer formulated to replicate OEM beads and textures. With the flexibility of a manual or sprayable application, our 1K seam sealer can help you create an invisible repair on interior and exterior seams or duplicate OEM sprayed undercarriage textures.

Seymour Duramix™ 2-in-1 1K Seam Sealer delivers superior adhesion to bare steel and aluminum. Surface preparation is critical to performance. When applying direct to metal or to other common automotive substrates, be sure to clean, sand, and dry surfaces first. When applicable, always follow OEM recommended procedures.

Fast Drying—Paintable Immediately

Our Duramix™ Black 2-in-1 1K Seam Sealer increases productivity with quick dry times. It has a 20-minute working time and 2-hour handling time, with no wait before painting with most solvent-based coatings (15 minutes with waterborne basecoats). Depending on bead thickness, this seam sealer is fully cured within 48 hours.
